CARE supports people in some of the world’s most challenging places to establish a better existence. We work for the poorest, the hardest hit, the least heard. We are committed to changing systems that perpetuate inequality, by tackling the root causes of poverty. We fight poverty by battling inequality.

Who we are
We are CARE Nederland, part of CARE International, a global development organisation operating in more than 100 countries worldwide. We started with American food aid to Europe after World War II. Since 1945, we have offered assistance to those most in need.
