What we do

CARE works around the globe to save lives, defeat poverty and achieve social justice. We support people in some of the world’s most challenging places to establish a better existence. We fight poverty by battling inequality. We do so by providing humanitarian assistance, supporting women and facilitating communities to develop sustainable livelihoods, with a focus on climate change adaptation. Our approach is characterised by achieving equal rights and opportunities. In doing so, we create systems change, in close collaboration with partners, governments and communities close to impact.
