Symposium: ‘Civic Driven Change in Fragile States?’

south-sudan_woman-with-huts-in-background_860pxThe experiences of the DCR show that citizens of fragile states can successfully contribute to the development of their country by opening the dialogue with

governments, law-makers, the army and others. Citizens can either challenge their government – and demand their rights – or offer their support.

During the symposium scientists and people operational in the field will discuss the practices of dialogue and dissent, especially in countries where this is not obvious.
